Linda Unger

Linda UngerI’ve been in photography for 38 years, starting with a Minolta SRT 101 and finally graduating to the Canon 30D and 50D series. Today I have a Canon 7D Mark II and an Olympus E-P5. But a few years back I got bitten by the film bug again and purchased 2 film cameras, a Mamiya 645 and a Mamiya 645 1000s Medium Format Film Camera, along with a Yashica Electro 35 GTN and a Nikon F3HP to play with.. I just love it. I started working in my 20’s in the darkroom with the old fashioned ‘rock the tray’ developing method. I shot with a camera as big as a car for many years in the printing industry. There I learned the ‘feel’ of what my settings should be. I shoot fully manual, all the time so I really have fun with my Medium Format Cameras. I also spend a lot of time of Instagram because I love the ‘polaroid’ look of the site. I have over 1300 photos there. I belong to the Northwest Art League and I participate in several online photo sites, as well as Facebook. I have such a passion for photography, but with no specific genre, so I am very eclectic and enjoy learning new techniques and styles. Today I am a draftsman during the day and weekends and nights are spent shooting for Kroger Marketing.. My photos are featured in the Kroger Signature stores in Houston, Katy, Prosper, Burleson, Fort Worth, Mansfield, River Oaks and many other cities in Texas. Along with Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. My children are grown and I have two Granddaughters. I am looking forward to many years of artistic expression. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life!
