Lisa Tenney

Lisa Tenney taught art in a private school for ten years in addition to many years of coordinating community arts events. She spent 2015 as the “Artist in Residence” at St. George’s Episcopal Church, creating an art installation of silk hangings aptly named, “A Beautiful Grief”. Helping people process their memories of loved ones through vibrant color on silk was a healing project for many. She has created several bodies of work in acrylics but for past few years, collage has taken center stage. Recently, large scale tree collages have been emerging in her art.
