Mike Williams

Mike Williams was born in Houston in 1956. He lives and produces his artwork in Hempstead Tx . A fondness for outdoor activities provides inspiration and the majority of his subject matter.

 Mike is a self taught artist with an extensive metal working background as a pipe fitter, pressure vessel fitter, drafter and estimator. A full time artist since 2010, he draws heavily on fabrication skills learned as a fitter to form the complex shapes of plants and animals.

 Each piece is meant to convey the relationship we hold with life around us.
