Born and raised in the Midwest, Janet Roe now works as a full-time photographer in Houston, Texas. After pursuing successful careers in teaching and the law, she turned her attention to the art of photography. Her work is project based, working on a series of cityscapes that reflect the blending of old and new in a city that often rejects the old; also, she has recently been working on a series of abstractions that ca
