Artist since grade school, 1971 awarded an art scholarship to attend four summer sessions at Art Center College of Design while in high school. Graduated in 1974 . Present art activities include art exhibitions in several galleries and have received first place winning for the years of 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, & 2016. In 2009 to present, founder of The Veterans Art Venue, a veteran art project devoted to provide art clinics and art therapy to veterans at no cost. Winner of the 2016 VA Western Regional VA Arts Competition, first place selection oil painting on canvas “The Price of Freedom”. I am an artist of a diverse application to create with a broad base of mediums to depict a vision to evoke the senses and to ignite reflections.
